Rock Painting

My first attempt at rock painting was a ladybird ...

I am quite impulsive, so after watching it done online and thinking "I could do that" I rushed outside to find a nicely shaped stone.   All I found was this piece of rubble... but of course I was already on a mad mission to give it a go..!

I hope you are not laughing as much as my son was at this point ..!

Not quite what I had envisaged, but it was a start!

After being shouted at by quite an irate gentleman for picking a few stones off the beach and hubby's subsequent telephone conversation with the Police who confirmed I was ok to do this, I had another go..

Had to do this one again because I hadn't used permanent black ink for the outlines.  It started to smudge when I tried to put varnish over it!

These are stones I have painted in memory of cherrished  pets..
