I know my riveting 😂 blog entries are randomly timed events, but I do actually enjoy keeping a written record of my days. During my teens and beyond, I wrote a diary fairly consistently for over a decade. However, as I got older, I didn't know from which 'entity' to write (if that makes any sense) - did I write as wife? Mother? To write from purely my own perspective seemed like shutting my family out.
Watching Suzie be so committed to her own diaries (9 years and counting 💖), made me want to start writing again.
The many stationery supplies that one needs to have a proper go at journalling was also a huge incentive! Both Suzie and myself are avid stationery lovers! So I set about choosing a notebook. That was a task in itself! It had to be right!
From there I began collecting various stickers, decorative paper, fineliners, stencils and stamping sets etc. Birthdays and Christmases are exciting presie opportunities to increase my collection!
Here are some more of my journalling bits...

I know I don't have a massive studio of journalling items, but I enjoy building my collection.😃
For a couple of years, my method of journalling was to decorate the page, then add my epiphany of the day's events. I enjoyed creating the day's design, but if I missed a few days, it was horrendous trying to catch up.
After months of not writing anything, I decided to go back to purely standard diary writing.
However, I was missing the creative part. So during a recent early hours snacking session because I couldn't sleep, I spotted this little book Suzie gave me. Such a lovely book that until now I haven't known what to use it for.
