Dream Catchers

It's been a little while since I made one of these.  I have all the beads, feathers and threads, but I need more hoop things.
These  are the ones I've made so far..

This was a test run really.  Hubby was redecorating the bedroom at the time and the gold ribbon matched the paintwork.  So I kept this as mine.

Suzie was keen to have one for her room, which is very pink!

Hubby loves the snow, so this is supposed to represent ice and snow!

Dan likes the colour purple but requested a multicolour effect also!

This was Taeyang/Korea inspired.... from what I remember  I used the  red and blue feathers to represent the Korean flag, his hair used to be a black mohican so that's the main black feather, the white dangly bits represent similar dangly bits on his "Ringa Linga" hat, (or they may have been hair extensions..?), the blue star is because he is (to me)  worldwide unbeatable artistic perfection and everything I could ask for in a celebrity/star and the red heart symbolises my everlasting adoration for him!  I know - you could have gone the rest of your life without knowing that, haha!

Suzie asked if I would make a dream catcher that she could give to one of her friends as a leaving present, as the friend was moving schools.  I have to say I was pleased with this one and I wish I had more of those big pink beads.

I made this for my first lovely hamster, Smudge, and hung it by his cage to 'keep him safe'!  Not sure it worked too well as one morning the children went downstairs before me and found him on top of his cage, having managed to squeeze through the padlocked hatch.  Hence the reason for the 3 padlocks that have been in use for all my hamsters ever since!  I should add that following some surprisingly quick thinking by both children at that early time in the morning, Smudge was calmly returned into his cage and all was well!

I must get round to ordering those hoop things because I really enjoy doing these.
Here's a quick pic of Humphrey and my other wonderful little men whom I have been lucky enough to share playtimes with.
