Hello again..

Hi, how are you?  Keeping safe and well I hope in these strange and worrying times.

Lockdown for us has been a mix of being forever thankful our daughter has been home with us, but being equally bereft that our son stayed at Uni accommodation with his girlfriend!  Understandable, but we miss them so much. We have been surviving - just, as I 'm sure many have, on weekly Facetimes and family group chat messages.  This has not stopped my inevitable outbursts of "HOW COME THOSE WORKMEN CAN TRAVEL IN THE SAME VAN BUT I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SEE MY SON??"  Emotional times. And Hubby's Mum has coped I am sure much more quietly than I, despite being just as distressed at not seeing her son.  #Ashamed.  She has been shielding alone at her home 10 miles away.

The dining table has doubled up as office desk for Hubby and Uni lecture station for Suzie.  Hubby has been her "study buddy"!  Mealtimes have been on trays in the living room.  However, with the possibility of working from home for the forseeable, Hubby has made space in his Den alongside his beer brewing paraphernalia.  So mealtimes are a little more civilised as I am no longer balancing on the ever-sprawling beanbag.

The weather has been amazing and we have been able to enjoy many hours of sitting in the sunshine.  Now more than ever, I am grateful for the sea view from our tiny front garden.  A visual escape from the enormity of the whole pandemic situation.

So anyhoo, I have some photos for you - around the garden obviously.. but later I will share some photos I took earlier in the year.

Laters 😊
