Final day of the Easter Holidays. Boo. JJ had texted this morning wondering if she could pop round for a cup of tea or two, but I thought I should keep the day clear incase my two peeps wanted to go for a walk or something. You know, make the most of the day. However, Suzie has homework to finish.. Dan has just put his furniture back now that access is not needed to that end of the radiator.. and I have snored my way through 'Murder She Wrote', so maybe JJ could have come after all!!
Hubby did a couple of jobs at home yesterday after a fun hour or so divided between the pool and hot tub. He secured the cabling for the central heating control thing. The 'Nest'. Although we call it iClops, as it's like an eye in the middle of the wall! It lights up when it senses that anyone is near it, or senses heat basically. You've possibly got one, or seen the adverts. The offspring were occupied for quite a while after it was installed, attempting to pass it without it knowing!! Hubby is well made up with it as he can control the heating level from his phone.. and check that I haven't turned it up too high when he's at work!! Although he has promised that he will never turn it down without checking with me first...

He also put a set of hooks on the wall in the back room, so that finally we have somewhere sensible to hang coats. When we first moved in nearly 15 years ago (omg) I asked Hubby to put hooks up in the porch. However the whole overloaded set up cascaded down when my Father hung his coat up one afternoon! It wasn't the best place to hang coats as the porch is quite small, so we have been using the back of my work-room door. As you can imagine, this doesn't make for easy manouvering in and out, and enough is enough.
Dan was out and about yesterday after lunch, met a couple of friends.. Yay! ;-) Suzie has been watching those nail art tutorials again and was practising on her toe nails. She can do it really well actually.
Laters...
