Well yesterday was so lovely! First Girlie Shopping Spree with my teenage girlie!!.... we have been saving for a couple of months. Although I had planned the journey in my head, I was still a little nervous about finding places to park. It's usually Hubby doing the driving! Anyhoo, after a slight detour we were back on track and parked right outside our first store, on the outskirts of the main town. We spent a wonderful time looking at handbags, makeup, clothes, shoes, stationery, nick-nacks, books. Here are a couple of items that I bought...
I love little drawers like this! |
This is a note book with pretty pages.. and it fits so well in one of the larger drawers!! |
...and I love little tins like this! |
Then we moved on to some clothes shopping. I won't bore you with pics from my stash ... suffice to say I have topped up my store of basic t-shirts and tops, different colours - same styles - easy to wear stuff. Next time I will stock up on 'louder' items! Suzie found lots of different things to buy, including a very pretty dress and a pink top. We both bought a light pair of summer shoes, just to wear in the garden really.
Speaking of the garden, here are two ornaments that I found myself carrying around... they were the last two on the shelf, and according to Suzie... I couldn't leave one behind! I hadn't really intended buying just the one, nevermind two!! I am surprised they are both intact after knocking them against various shop doorways!
LOL! |
I have to say I was pleased with my multi-storey carpark parking when we moved on to the main town. Considering I have only just controlled my panic attacks when Hubby drives us in there at the weekends, Anna May did good!! So off into the town we went and just enjoyed wandering around more shops together. The only challenge was choosing where to eat!
It was a very special day. Driving home, remembering outings with my lovely Mum .... I glanced across at Suzie and took a moment to wonder when and how I moved across into the driving seat.
