Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity

Hello.. apologies I missed yesterday.  Was playing with new phone which is now up and running.  Can't wait for some decent weather to go out and take some pics.

My interest in blog design etc is growing, so I am reading a lot.  For example, reading up on hints and tips for successful blogging.  So many people have so much to say on the matter.  Personally, I don't really want to follow a set of guidelines, I just enjoy writing a bit of a diary.  Always have done.  I'm sure what I write is of no interest to most people, but I'm not doing it for those people.

Anyway, what I was going on to say.. is that with spending a lot of time in front of my laptop, the issue of electromagnetic hypersensitivity has risen once again.

Quite a while ago, when I used a laptop on my knee, the muscles in my legs would become uncomfortable.  I will use the word 'ache' but I'm not sure that's exactly it.  Whatever, it happened enough for me to wonder whether it was connected to the close proximity of the laptop.  So I did some reading.  I found that there were quite a few mentions of the very same thing on the internet.  I immediately banned the children from using their laptops on their knees and we bought two tv tables from Argos. That was about 9 years ago. The tables are still in constant use and I am happy to say the children have always respected my, at times, inconvenient rule.  Hubby on the other hand is a different matter.  That is his choice.  He still uses a laptop on his knee.  As for me, even when I use a laptop on one of the tables, if  I am too close, the 'ache' in my lower abdomen is quite debilitating.    When I recently had a new laptop, I thought for some reason maybe it won't be as bad.  But it is.  So Hubby finally did some research himself and concedes that, although the extent of his experience only amounts to warm thighs, there is actually something in this electromagnetism hypersensitivity lark.  I wonder if anyone reading this experiences anything similar.

Laters ..
