Hi, this morning I have been working, now I am taking a break from household chores. I know I never say what my work is. I feel that if I did, it would be easier for people to identify me. Not that it matters. You see for my work, I have a facebook page. And I hate it. Hubby thinks it is essential for businesses these days to be "out there" in facebook land. But I just want to stay "in here" in my land. I detest the falseness of facebook.
Blogs are different somehow ~ there is no apparent intentional or unintentional targetting of comments, or trying to paint things brighter than they are ~ or worse -purely to attract the "what's the matter hun?" chime. I know the business page exists in more pleasant surroundings than that, but I would so love to just shut it all down.
As for the personal account, I have clammed that right up - family and sincerely close friends only. A fantasticly freeing decision!
Anyhoo, here on my blog I can be myself. Those who are interested can tag along.. those who are not can jog along.. and everyone is happy. Simple! In my unsociable opinion, a facebook update is giving someone the opportunity to critizise your life whilst pretending to be your friend.
